Resumo: | With the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, in March 2020, humanity has been adopting and creating several measures of social distancing, one of these measures adopted by a large part of the corporate world was the beginning of the home office. This type of work brings countless benefits to people, but also issues that can affect our well-being and performance, such as ergonomic aspects. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of the COVID-19 pandemic on low back pain complaints in home office workers and the workload overload in this work environment adapted to the participants' level of functional capacity. This experimental study included the participation of 74 (37.8% women and 62.2 men) office workers exercising their activities in a home office, for a period of time of at least 6 months. It was observed that with the beginning of activities in the home office there was also an increase in workers' complaints of low back pain, and the current moment had more low back pain reports (Median = 4.0) compared to the moment before the pandemic Covid -19 (Median = 0.0). |
