This monograph aims to discuss the insertion of the theme of feminism in the international agenda. It intends to portray, through a literature review methodology, how this insertion process was essential for many women to achieve their due rights. It mainly intends to address this issue from a standpoint of physical violence against women in places of armed conflict and, for this purpose, the analysis will be carried out through two current cases: Kidnapping of Chibok in Nigeria by Boko Haram and the influence of the State Islamist in violence against women. This is a very important issue, as it mainly deals with the failure of governmental entities regarding the suffering of many women within these conflict zones, and how the help of non-governmental institutions and internal struggles led by women had an effect in the context international, to the point that the theme was placed on the international agenda, with its - until then few - conventions and treaties that aim to prevent situations like what happened to women during the Pacific War from happening again. The monograph ends by raising important points of strategy for the eradication of this violence and the role of the State in this period.
