Resumo: | The objectives of this study were to examine the biological interactions of parathyroid hormone (PTH) and growth hormone (GH) by measuring the bone-toimplant contact (BIC) bona área fraction accupancy (BAFO) in percentages after different volumes applied in single local administration directly at the implant’s surface with 64 implants for each group PTH and GH. In total, 120 implants were inserted into the vertebral body C3 and C4 in 3, 6 and 12 weeks of observation. Statistical analyses were used with a linear mixed model. For the GH the BIC showed statistics differences for the time (p = 0.006). In 3 weeks presented with less bone contact, especially in the group GH powder. The results of BAFO showed differences statistics for the time (p = 0.035). Three weeks (34.91%)a showed lower BAFO. With the PTH the results of BIC showed statistics differences for the time (p < 0.001). In 3 weeks (9,38%)a showed lower contact percentage. The results of BAFO showed statistics differences for the time (p < 0.001). Three weeks (27.07%)a showed lower BAFO. We conclude that the single local application of different GH and PTH volumes on the surface of dental implants didn't influence on the percentage of BAFO at all times analyzed. The GH powder showed the lowest BIC in 3 weeks comparing with the control group. The administration of PTH did not promote the increase of BIC e BAFO in the mineralized bone tissue in contact with the implant in all volumes and times observed. |

The administration of PTH did not promote the increase of BIC e BAFO in the mineralized bone tissue in contact with the implant in all volumes and times observed. Três semanas (34.91%)a apresentou menor BAFO. Universidade PositivoBrasilPós-GraduaçãoPrograma de Pós-Graduação em Odontologia ClínicaUPGiovanini, Allan Fernandohttp://lattes.cnpq.br/8065373057528197Grossi, João Ricardo Almeida2021-05-12T19:10:06Z20182021-05-12T19:10:06Z2018info:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersioninfo:eu-repo/semantics/doctoralThesisapplication/pdfhttps://repositorio.cruzeirodosul.edu.br/handle/123456789/2152porinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessreponame:Repositório do Centro Universitário Braz Cubasinstname:Centro Universitário Braz Cubas (CUB)instacron:CUB2021-09-09T20:42:06Zoai:repositorio.cruzeirodosul.edu.br:123456789/2152Repositório InstitucionalPUBhttps://repositorio.brazcubas.edu.br/oai/requestbibli@brazcubas.edu.bropendoar:2021-09-09T20:42:06Repositório do Centro Universitário Braz Cubas - Centro Universitário Braz Cubas (CUB)false |
