Resumo: The objective of this study is to identify the relation of the workload of the nursing team and the safety indicators of the patient, in the hospital environment. Method: This is a descriptive study, with a quantitative approach, the data collection was done through reports management of indicators of people management and quality, and data were analyzed using the Pearson correlation coefficient. Results: The presence of a minimum care profile, absenteeism and turnover rates, the absence of patient falls, the non-measurement of pressure injuries and the existence of hospital infection rates were observed. Conclusion: There was no relation between the one proposed by the researchers

Método: Trata-se de um estudo descritivo, com uma abordagem quantitativa, a coleta de dados se deu por meio de relatórios gerencias de indicadores de gestão de pessoas e de qualidade, sendo os dados analisados com o uso do coeficiente de correlação de Pearson. Resultados: Observou-se a presença de um perfil de pacientes de cuidados mínimos, índices de absenteísmo e rotatividade, ausência de quedas de pacientes, a não mensuração de lesões por pressão e a existência de índices de infecção hospitalar.
