The Law found on the street and agrarian law

This article represents an effort to update the book "Critical Introduction to Agrarian Law", from the collection The Law Found on the Street, in order to identify subjects and themes emerging in the Agrarian Law that were not addressed in the book, and raise questions that contribute to think about the relation between the right and the current challenges of the Brazilian agrarian reality. The work was carried out through bibliographical review and documentary analysis and its results pointed to important transformations in the countryside in the last decades, such as the multiplication of guidelines, action repertoires and collective subjects of rights, with emphasis on the political emergence of traditional peoples and communities, the meaning of Agrarian Reform and the intensification of territorial expropriation processes, violence and violations of rights.
