Planning in uncertain environments: contributions of the BANI model to information policies

Resumo: | Strategic planning helps to think about the organization in terms of goals and lines of action in the medium and long term, but these characterizing features do not seem to be in line with the current times where uncertainty and change are the currency of use, and that prevents think in terms of temporal coordinates that distance us from the present. However, they understand that managing the current situation and thinking about it from planning helps to achieve success and the development of policies according to these times. Strategic planning is observed from a situational and integrating approach, where contributions from different disciplinary perspectives converge. At the same time, it puts into dialogue organizational learning, change management and transformational leadership, to be in line with the proposal of the model that supports this work, which focuses on the BANI model. In it, a reality of chaos and confusion is defined, but at the same time the foundations are laid to take this as an opportunity, by thinking about life in organizations from this verification. From the methodological point of view, a theoretical study is proposed, which helps to understand the model and its complexity, making contributions on a topic that, due to its current nature, does not yet have a large body of bibliography. It is understood that assuming the current imprint from the BANI model can influence improvements in the formulation of information policies, and in this sense, this contribution seeks to establish what would be the guidelines of the model that would operate in said formulations, and what positive consequences could contribute to information policies, aspects that are made explicit in the results and are recovered in the final considerations. |

No obstante ellos entiende que gestionar la actual coyuntura y pensarla desde la planificación ayuda a alcanzar el éxito y el desarrollo de políticas acordes a estos tiempos. Se observa a la planificación estratégica desde un enfoque situacional e integrador, donde confluyen aportes desde distintas miradas disciplinares. A su vez pone en diálogo el aprendizaje organizacional, la gestión del cambio y el liderazgo transformacional, para estar en consonancia con la propuesta del modelo que vertebra este trabajo, el cual focaliza los entornos BANI. En ellos se define una realidad de caos y confusión, pero a su vez se sientan las bases para tomar esto como oportunidad, al pensar la vida en las organizaciones desde esta constatación. Desde el punto de vista metodológico se propone un estudio teórico, que ayude a comprender el modelo y su complejidad, efectuando aportes en un tema que debido a su actualidad no cuenta aún con gran cúmulo de bibliografía. Se entiende que asumir la impronta actual desde el modelo BANI puede incidir en mejoras en la formulación de políticas de información, y en tal sentido se busca en esta contribución establecer cuáles serían los lineamientos del modelo que operarían en dichas formulaciones, y qué consecuencias positivas podrían aportar a las políticas de información, aspectos que se explicitan en los resultados y se recuperan en las consideraciones finales.O planejamento estratégico ajuda a pensar a organização em termos de objetivos e linhas de ação a médio e longo prazo, mas essas características não parecem estar em consonância com os tempos atuais em que a incerteza e a mudança são a moeda de uso, e que impede pensar em termos de coordenadas temporais que nos distanciam do presente. No entanto, eles entendem que gerenciar a situação atual e pensar nela desde o planejamento ajuda a alcançar o sucesso e o desenvolvimento de políticas de acordo com esses tempos. O planejamento estratégico é observado a partir de uma abordagem situacional e integradora, onde convergem contribuições de diferentes perspectivas disciplinares. Ao mesmo tempo, coloca em diálogo aprendizagem organizacional, gestão da mudança e liderança transformacional, para estar em consonância com a proposta do modelo que sustenta este trabalho, que tem como foco o modelo BANI. Nele, define-se uma realidade de caos e confusão, mas ao mesmo tempo são lançadas as bases para aproveitar isso como uma oportunidade, pensando a vida nas organizações a partir dessa verificação. Do ponto de vista metodológico, propõe-se um estudo teórico, que ajude a compreender o modelo e sua complexidade, trazendo contribuições sobre um tema que, por sua natureza atual, ainda não possui grande bibliografia.
