The information as an element of social inclusion in cultural centers

Resumo: | Information is the basic element of society, especially in contemporary society which is characterized by the use and access of information through information and communication technologies. Considering its relevance, the objective was to reflect on it as an element of social inclusion through cultural centers, which play an important role in this society as potentiators to the development of people and, in particular, to characterize cultural centers through literature and understand the librarian as a mediator of information and culture in such a context. Therefore, the research had a qualitative approach, with exploratory and descriptive objectives, with a bibliographic technical procedure. The study showed that information, materialized in culture, is relevant for the inclusion and transformation of the subject, bringing benefits to itself and to society as a whole and that cultural centers are important instruments of access to it. The study also showed that cultural centers are spaces with the potential to promote social inclusion through various activities, with library activities being important to promote the mediation of information and culture. |

Considerando su relevancia, el objetivo fue reflexionar sobre ella como un elemento de inclusión social a través de los centros culturales, que juegan un papel importante en esta sociedad como potenciadores del desarrollo de las personas y, en particular, caracterizar los centros culturales a través de la literatura y comprender el bibliotecario como mediador de información y cultura en tal contexto. Por lo tanto, la investigación tuvo un enfoque cualitativo, con objetivos exploratorios y descriptivos, con un procedimiento técnico bibliográfico. El estudio mostró que la información, materializada en la cultura, es relevante para la inclusión y transformación del sujeto, trayendo beneficios para sí mismo y para la sociedad en su conjunto y que los centros culturales son importantes instrumentos de acceso a ella. El estudio también mostró que los centros culturales son espacios con potencial para promover la inclusión social a través de diversas actividades, siendo importante la actividad bibliotecaria para promover la mediación de la información y la cultura.A informação é o elemento básico da sociedade, principalmente na sociedade contemporânea, que se caracteriza pelo uso e acesso à informação por meio das tecnologias de informação e comunicação. Considerando sua relevância, objetivamos refletir sobre ela como elemento de inclusão social por meio de dois centros culturais, que desempenham um papel importante na sociedade como potencializadores para o desenvolvimento das pessoas e, especificamente, caracterizam os centros culturais por meio da literatura e entendem o bibliotecário como um mediador de informação e cultura em tal contexto. Para isso, a pesquisa tem abordagem qualitativa, com objetivos exploratórios e descritivos, com procedimento bibliográfico técnico. O estudo evidenciou que a informação, materializada na cultura, é relevante para a inclusão e transformação do sujeito, tirando benefícios para si e para toda a sociedade e que os centros culturais são importantes instrumentos de acesso a ela.
