Bioethics in Information Science research: some sayings about the electronic patient record

Resumo: The discussions contemplating the need for bioethics in scientific research have their origins around 1970, when the society moved towards an ethic that excelled for the integrity of the subjects in studies and researches involving humans. In this context, we discuss the concepts of bioethics in the framework of scientific research in information science and its application to electronic patient record. The results show the care that researchers of this theme need to have in order to address ethical issues involving access to multiple and diverse types of information recorded in these documents in order to ensure confidentiality and respect for the individuality of data on the sick person, also addressing what the laws on bioethics determines in Brazil and in the worldwide context.

En este contexto, se discuten los conceptos de la bioética en el ámbito de la investigación científica en Ciencias de la Información y su aplicabilidad a la historia clínica electrónica. Los resultados muestran el cuidado que los investigadores en este tema deben tener para abordar las cuestiones éticas que involucran el acceso a los diversos y diversos tipos de información registrada en estos documentos, con el fin de garantizar la confidencialidad y el respeto a la individualidad de los datos relacionados. a la persona enferma, contemplando también lo que determina la legislación sobre bioética existente en Brasil y en el contexto mundial.As discussões contemplando a necessidade da Bioética na pesquisa científica têm suas origens por volta de 1970, quando a sociedade se movimentou em prol de uma ética que primasse pela integridade dos sujeitos nos estudos e pesquisas envolvendo seres humanos. Nesse contexto, discutem-se os conceitos de bioética no âmbito da pesquisa cientifica em Ciência da Informação e sua aplicabilidade ao prontuário eletrônico do paciente.
