Scientific production: an analysis of co-authorships of the PPGCI of Unesp/Marília campus between 2001 and 2009

Resumo: This research aimed to identify the scientific production for articles published in its typology of the Post Graduated Program in Information Science, Unesp, Marília. Particularly, it was evaluated co-authored articles written by researcher teachers from the Program and built networks of scientific collaboration and the calculation of some indicators. As research procedure, reports of CAPES evaluation between the years 2001 to 2009 were considered it articles produced in co-authorship. It was built up a network of co-authoring, using the software Pajek, and calculated the indicators of density and centrality of the network, allowing analysis of the intensity of network connectivity and the role of each player individually and the network as a whole. We analyzed the collaborative network in order to visualize the partnerships among the researchers from the three research lines and between them and their collaborators to verify the connection intensity.

De manera más especial, se intentó evaluar los artículos escritos en coautoría por los investigadores docentes del PPGCI y construir redes de colaboración científica y el cálculo de algunos indicadores. Como procedimiento de investigación, se levantaron los informes de evaluación de la producción bibliográfica de la Capes, entre los años 2001 a 2009 los artículos producidos en coautoría. La red de coautoría se construyó utilizando el software Pajek, así como también se calcularon los indicadores de densidad y centralidad de la red, que permiten analizar la intensidad de la conectividad de la red y el rol de cada actor individualmente y en la red en su conjunto. Se analizó la red y algunos de sus indicadores para visualizar alianzas y posibles pensamientos epistemológicos comunes.Esta pesquisa objetivou identificar a produção científica do PPGCI-Programa de Pós- Graduação em Ciência da Informação-da Unesp-Marília em sua tipologia, artigos publicados. De forma mais especial, procurou-se avaliar os artigos elaborados em coautorias pelos pesquisadores docentes do PPGCI e construir as redes de colaboração científica e o cálculo de alguns indicadores. Como procedimento de pesquisa, levantou-se os relatórios de avaliação da produção bibliográfica da Capes, entre os anos de 2001 a 2009 os artigos produzidos em coautorias.
