Resumo: This work addresses teaching and research on archival identification and its interdisciplinary relationships within the scope of undergraduate and postgraduate studies in Archivology in Brazil. Archival identification is a research methodology that is developed, within the parameters of scientific rigor, as a preliminary task to the archival functions of classification, evaluation, description, and planning of documentary production. It is a working tool for the archivist. It involves an analysis of institutions as producer of documents and its documents, allowing the standardization of the document typology and its grouping into documentary series for record management. It also allows treatment of documents accumulated in archives. The objective of this investigation is to analyze the perspective of archival identification studies in the context of the curricula of undergraduate courses in Archivology and postgraduate research in Information Science. This is exploratory and descriptive research, with a quantitative and qualitative approach, which is developed as a bibliographic and documentary study based on a literature review and the collection and analysis of data on the term and concept of identification and its relations with diplomatic and documentary typology in the field of archival science, present in the teaching plans that guide undergraduate courses in Archivology in Brazil and in open access repositories to retrieve the publications that guide the theme. The theoretical construction of this method has also been addressed in scientific research carried out in the country's postgraduate studies, notably in the field of Information Science, context in which the perspectives opened by the Archival Documentary Genesis Research Group of the Federal Fluminense University, registered in the Directory of Research Groups of the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development is inserted, influencing a current of researchers from other Brazilian universities, demonstrating a research trend in Brazil.

La identificación archivística es una metodología de investigación que se desarrolla, dentro de los parámetros del rigor científico, como tarea previa a las funciones archivísticas de clasificación, valoración, descripción y planificación de la producción documental. Es una herramienta de trabajo para el archivero, ya que comprende una investigación que estudia el organismo productor y sus documentos, permitiendo estandarizar la denominación de la tipología documental y su agrupación en series documentales para la gestión documental y tratamiento de los documentos acumulados en archivos. El objetivo de esta investigación es analizar la perspectiva de los estudios de identificación archivística en el contexto de los planes de estudio de las carreras de Archivología y de la investigación de posgrado en Ciencias de la Información. Se trata de una investigación exploratoria y descriptiva, con un enfoque cuantitativo y cualitativo, que se desarrolla como un estudio bibliográfico y documental basado en la revisión de la literatura y la recolección y análisis de datos sobre el término y concepto de identificación y sus relaciones con la Diplomática y la Tipología documental. en el campo de la Archivística, presente en los planes docentes que orientan las carreras de pregrado en Archivística en Brasil y en repositorios de acceso abierto para recuperar las publicaciones que orientan la temática. La construcción teórica de este método también ha sido abordada en investigaciones científicas realizadas en los cursos de posgrado del país, particularmente en el campo de las Ciencias de la Información, contexto en el que se insertan las perspectivas abiertas por el Grupo de Investigación Génesis Documental Archivística de la Universidad Federal Fluminense, inscrito en el Directorio de Grupos de Investigación del Consejo Nacional de Desarrollo Científico y Tecnológico, influyendo en una corriente de investigadores de otras universidades brasileñas, lo que demuestra una tendencia de investigación en Brasil.Este trabalho aborda o ensino e a pesquisa sobre a identificação arquivística e suas relações interdisciplinares no âmbito da graduação em Arquivologia e da pós-graduação no Brasil. A identificação arquivística é uma metodologia de pesquisa que se desenvolve, nos parâmetros do rigor científico, como tarefa preliminar às funções arquivísticas de classificação, avaliação, descrição e planejamento da produção documental. É uma ferramenta de trabalho para o arquivista, pois compreende uma investigação que estuda o órgão produtor e seus documentos, permitindo a normalização da denominação da tipologia documental e o seu agrupamento em séries documentais para a gestão de documentos e tratamento de documentos acumulados em arquivos. O objetivo desta investigação é analisar a perspectiva dos estudos de identificação arquivística no contexto dos currículos dos cursos de graduação em Arquivologia e na pesquisa da pós-graduação em Ciência da Informação. Trata-se de pesquisa exploratória e descritiva, de abordagem quantitativa e qualitativa, que se desenvolve como um estudo bibliográfico e documental a partir da revisão de literatura e da coleta e análise de dados sobre o termo e conceito de identificação e suas relações com a diplomática e tipologia documental no campo da arquivística, presente nos planos de ensino que norteiam os cursos de graduação em Arquivologia no Brasil e nos repositórios de acesso aberto para recuperar as publicações que norteiam a temática.
