Resumo: The objective of this text is to analyze the changes and the main challenges that the academic community has experienced in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic. We start from the assumption that the ways of doing research, teaching and training new researchers were reactively revolutionized in practically all areas of knowledge in the face of the health emergency; in most cases virtual environments or ecosystems became the main factor for the management of scientific and academic knowledge. However, this also implied a series of challenges that are worth delving into based on such questions as: how have research and teaching been developed in recent months? What have been the main obstacles to the generation of new knowledge? What strategies have been implemented to carry out field work? What is the balance in relation to academic training and the production of new knowledge? The first part of this document describes the dynamics and strategies that the University of Guadalajara developed in research and teaching before the arrival of COVID-19. We then identify the main changes and strategies that the institution adopted with and during the health emergency. In the third section, we point out the main challenges that researchers, teachers and the university community will face in the short term with respect to the development of research and teaching after the pandemic.

A partir do pressuposto de que as formas de fazer pesquisa, ensino e formação de novos pesquisadores foram reativamente revolucionadas em praticamente todas as áreas do conhecimento diante da emergência sanitária, na maioria dos casos, ambientes virtuais ou ecossistemas tornaram-se o principal fator para a gestão do conhecimento científico e acadêmico.  No entanto, isso também implicava uma série de desafios que vale a pena aprofundar, a partir do questionamento, entre outros: como a pesquisa e o ensino foram desenvolvidos nos últimos meses? Quais foram os principais obstáculos para a geração de novos conhecimentos? Quais estratégias foram implementadas para realizar o trabalho de campo? Qual é o equilíbrio em relação à formação acadêmica e à produção de novos conhecimentos? A primeira parte deste documento descreve as dinâmicas e estratégias que a Universidade de Guadalajara desenvolveu em pesquisa e ensino antes da chegada do COVID-19; em um segundo momento, identificaremos as principais mudanças e estratégias que a instituição adotou, e durante a emergência em saúde e, na terceira seção, vamos apontar os principais desafios que pesquisadores, professores e a comunidade universitária enfrentarão a curto prazo no que diz respeito ao desenvolvimento da pesquisa e ensino após a pandemia.El objetivo de este texto es analizar los cambios y los principales desafíos que la comunidad académica ha experimentado ante la pandemia por el COVID-19. Partimos del supuesto de que las formas de hacer investigación, de impartir docencia y de formar a nuevos investigadores se revolucionaron de manera reactiva prácticamente en todas las áreas del conocimiento ante la emergencia sanitaria; en la mayoría de los casos los ambientes o ecosistemas virtuales se constituyeron en el factor principal para la gestión del conocimiento científico y académico. Sin embargo, esto también implicó una serie de desafíos en los que vale la pena profundizar desde ¿cómo se ha desarrollado la investigación y la impartición de docencia en los últimos meses?, ¿cuáles han sido los principales obstáculos para la generación de nuevos conocimientos?, ¿qué estrategias se han implementado para realizar trabajo de campo?, ¿cuál es el balance con relación a la formación académica y producción de nuevos conocimientos? entre otros.
