Resumo: Esse artigo resgata a formação moral e ética para transformação da pessoa por meio das virtudes e a prepara para lidar com as emoções. Levantamos a hipótese de que somos movidos pelas emoções e precisamos investir na formação da pessoa por meio da educação das virtudes para sermos capazes de construir uma sociedade de pessoas felizes e justas. O objetivo é levar à reflexão sobre educação, conceito de pessoa e construção dos valores éticos na formação humana baseados na hermenêutica de Paul Ricoeur (2008) que nos permite entender os conceitos selecionados. O artigo levanta duas questões: identificar até que ponto a educação por meio das virtudes transforma a pessoa e porque é necessário compreender o conceito de pessoa. Fundamenta-se em Aristóteles (a.C. IV, 1999), Maritain (1959) Mounier (1964) e Sucupira Costa Lins (2014). Esses autores oferecem suporte para nosso objetivo pela preocupação com a formação da pessoa por meio das virtudes.   Palavras-chave: Educação Filosófica. Conceito de pessoa. Formação humana. Educação Integral.This paper rescues moral and ethical education to change people through virtues and enable them to deal with their emotions. We have the hypothesis that we are moved by emotions and that we need to invest in virtue education to be able to build a society of happy and fair people. Its objective is to reflect on education, the concept of person and the organization of ethical values in human education based on Ricoeur’s hermeneutics (2008), which allows us to understand the selected concepts. This paper raises two questions: to identify to what extent virtue education changes a person and why it is necessary to understand the concept of person. Its theoretical foundation includes Aristoteles (BC IV, 1999), Maritain (1959), Mounier (1964) and Sucupira Costa Lins (2014). These authors provide the basis for our objective because of their concern with one’s virtue education.   Keywords: Philosophical education. Concept of person. Human education.
