Resumo: | This paper deals with a laboratory experiment comparing various insecticides applied to adults of Oebalus poecilus (Dallas, 1851) (= Solubea poecila) (= HEM., Pentatomidae), a rice stink bug commonly known as “percevejo do arroz". Using the method of Farrar et al. (1948) B.H.C. 2% gamma isomer, carbaryl 10%, DDT 10%, endosulfan 4%, malathion 4%, methyl parathion 1.5%, monocrotophos 2%, phosphamidon 1.5%, Check 1 (with vacuum) and Check 2 (without vacuum) were tested in a completely randomized design with four replications each. The insecticides were applied at the rate of 20 kg/ha. A statistical analysis was made on the number of dead insects and on dead insects plus insects affected by treatments 12 and 24 hours after applications. All insecticides were effective, except, DDT. There were no differences in effectiveness of insecticides when comparing the 12 and 24 hour observations. The vacuum did not influence the number of dead insects. |

An experiment using dust insecticides against Oebalus poecilusEnsaio com inseticidas em pó sobre Oebalus poecilusThis paper deals with a laboratory experiment comparing various insecticides applied to adults of Oebalus poecilus (Dallas, 1851) (= Solubea poecila) (= HEM., Pentatomidae), a rice stink bug commonly known as “percevejo do arroz". Using the method of Farrar et al. There were no differences in effectiveness of insecticides when comparing the 12 and 24 hour observations. The vacuum did not influence the number of dead insects. Pesquisa Agropecuaria BrasileiraPesquisa Agropecuária BrasileiraCorseuil, ElioCruz, Fernando Z. da2014-04-15info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://seer.sct.embrapa.br/index.php/pab/article/view/17386Pesquisa Agropecuaria Brasileira; v.7, n.6, 1972: Série Agronomia; 173-175Pesquisa Agropecuária Brasileira; v.7, n.6, 1972: Série Agronomia; 173-1751678-39210100-104xreponame:Pesquisa Agropecuária Brasileira (Online)instname:Empresa Brasileira de Pesquisa Agropecuária (Embrapa)instacron:EMBRAPAporhttps://seer.sct.embrapa.br/index.php/pab/article/view/17386/11651info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess2014-04-15T18:40:31Zoai:ojs.seer.sct.embrapa.br:article/17386Revistahttp://seer.sct.embrapa.br/index.php/pabPRIhttps://old.scielo.br/oai/scielo-oai.phppab@sct.embrapa.br || sct.pab@embrapa.br1678-39210100-204Xopendoar:2014-04-15T18:40:31Pesquisa Agropecuária Brasileira (Online) - Empresa Brasileira de Pesquisa Agropecuária (Embrapa)false |
