Evaluation of pathogenic populations of wheat powdery mildew

Resumo: Samples from several wheat growing regions were considered in the evaluation of the pathogenic populations of Erysiphe graminis f. sp. tritici Marchal. It was concluded that only the gene combination of the cultivar Khapli - Pm4a + ... plus two unknown genes - maintained the resistance in all tests realized. According to the average coefficient of infection, the gene Pm4b and the combination Pm2 + Mld, also can be considered of good performance in a complete evaluation since 1980.

Pelos resultados obtidos, foi concluído ser a combinação de genes - Pm4a +... com mais dois não identificados -, contida em Khapli, a única, dentre as cultivares testadas, que continua mantendo resistência frente ao inóculo testado.
