Resumo: This study presents the results of three field experiments using NPK and micro-element fertilization on wheat. The experiments were carried out on the experimental fieIds at Instituto de Pesquisas e Experimentaçáo Agropecuárias do Centro-Oeste, Sete Lagoas, Minas Gerais, Brazil. The results obtained showed no influence of P and K alone, on yield. How ever, NPK with micronutrients, and NPK applications did significantly increase wheat yields indicating that nitrogen was necessary for increasing wheat production ou the soils studied.

Os ensaios foram instalados na sede do Instituto de Pesquisas e Experimentação Agropecuárias do Centro-Oeste, em Sete Lagoas, Minas Gerais.
