Resumo: A randomized block design, with four treatments and four replications was used to study the rapeseed meal as a source of protein in broilers rations at the Centro Nacional de Pesquisa de Suínos e Aves - CNPSA-EMBRAPA - at Concórdia, SC, Brazil, from November/December 1981. The treatments consisted of replacement of 0, 10, 20 and 30% of the soybean meal protein by rapeseed meal. Each replication was formed by 46 broilers (23 males and 23 females), totalizing 736 Pilch broilers. There were no significative differences (P>0.05) among experimental rations for daily weight gain, feed intake and feed conversion. It was concluded that the rapeseed meal can replace up to 30% of soybean meal protein without any damage in performance of the broilers, since the rations were isocaloric and isoproteic.

Pesquisa Agropecuaria BrasileiraPesquisa Agropecuária BrasileiraAlbino, Luiz Fernando T.Filho, Tércio MichelanFialho, Elias TadeuGomes, Paulo Cezar2014-04-16info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://seer.sct.embrapa.br/index.php/pab/article/view/15335Pesquisa Agropecuaria Brasileira; v.18, n.6, jun. 1983; 679-683Pesquisa Agropecuária Brasileira; v.18, n.6, jun. 1983; 679-6831678-39210100-104xreponame:Pesquisa Agropecuária Brasileira (Online)instname:Empresa Brasileira de Pesquisa Agropecuária (Embrapa)instacron:EMBRAPAporhttps://seer.sct.embrapa.br/index.php/pab/article/view/15335/9192info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess2014-04-16T18:59:26Zoai:ojs.seer.sct.embrapa.br:article/15335Revistahttp://seer.sct.embrapa.br/index.php/pabPRIhttps://old.scielo.br/oai/scielo-oai.phppab@sct.embrapa.br || sct.pab@embrapa.br1678-39210100-204Xopendoar:2014-04-16T18:59:26Pesquisa Agropecuária Brasileira (Online) - Empresa Brasileira de Pesquisa Agropecuária (Embrapa)false
