Resumo: | The present work was conducted under greenhouse conditions during 1979 at Fortaleza, Ceará. The objective was to study morphological alterations in cowpea plants (Vigna unguiculata (L.) Walp, cv. Pitiuba) caused by the deficiencies of micronutrients such as boron, copper, iron, manganese, molybdenum and zinc, and by the toxicity of aluminum and manganese. It was evident that the deficiencies due to boron, iron and manganese and the toxicity of Mn resulted in most characteristic manifestations of the symptoms. |
