Resumo: | This research aimed to evaluate the production of fruit on two and three-year old guava plants from four cultivars (Riverside Vermelha, Brune Vermelha, IAC-4, Pirassununga Vermelha) and three clones (RBS-1, RBS-2, Patillo) in Porto Lucena, RS (Southern Brazil). The evaluation was made based on the fruit weight and fruit number per hectare, the mean fruit weight and the vegetative development. The results showed that the production of the three-year old trees was greater than that of the two-year old trees. The opposite was true for the mean fruit weight. 'Pirassununga Vermelha' produced the highest fruit weight and fruit number, and 'RBS-1' the greatest mean fruit weight. Considering the production and the mean weight of the fruit, Pirassununga Vermelha and Riverside Vermelha cultivars showed the best performance for natural consumption and industrialization. 'IAC-4' and 'RBS-1' trees had the largest trunk perimeter, 'PBS-2' the greatest height and 'RBS-1' the broadest crown diameter. |

Pesquisa Agropecuaria BrasileiraPesquisa Agropecuária BrasileiraGerhardt, Liliane Bonatto de AzambujaManica, IvoBarradas, Carlos Iguassú Nogueira1995-03-01info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://seer.sct.embrapa.br/index.php/pab/article/view/4317Pesquisa Agropecuaria Brasileira; v.30, n.3, mar. 1995; 375-382Pesquisa Agropecuária Brasileira; v.30, n.3, mar. 1995; 375-3821678-39210100-104xreponame:Pesquisa Agropecuária Brasileira (Online)instname:Empresa Brasileira de Pesquisa Agropecuária (Embrapa)instacron:EMBRAPAporhttps://seer.sct.embrapa.br/index.php/pab/article/view/4317/1603info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess2010-06-01T19:19:27Zoai:ojs.seer.sct.embrapa.br:article/4317Revistahttp://seer.sct.embrapa.br/index.php/pabPRIhttps://old.scielo.br/oai/scielo-oai.phppab@sct.embrapa.br || sct.pab@embrapa.br1678-39210100-204Xopendoar:2010-06-01T19:19:27Pesquisa Agropecuária Brasileira (Online) - Empresa Brasileira de Pesquisa Agropecuária (Embrapa)false |
