Resumo: | The half-life of 51Cr-tagged erythrocytes of 11 healthy and 5 naturally infected by equine infectious anemia Thoroughbred horses was determined in Rio de Janeiro, GB, Brazil. The half-life of 51Cr-tagged erythrocytes of healthy horses was 15,5 (S.D. ± 2,08) days, and of anemic horses 8,98 (S.D. ±1,20) days. The difference between the mean values of the two groups was statistically significant (P < 0,01). A compensated hiperhemolysis is reported in the anemic horses with the chronic form of disease. Radioisotopic studies on equine infectious enemia. I. life span of 51Cr-tagged erythrocytes in thoroughbred horsesEstudo Radioisotótico da anemia infecciosa equina. I. duração dos eritrócitos marcados com 51Cromo em cavalos puro sangue inglês The half-life of 51Cr-tagged erythrocytes of 11 healthy and 5 naturally infected by equine infectious anemia Thoroughbred horses was determined in Rio de Janeiro, GB, Brazil. Pesquisa Agropecuaria BrasileiraPesquisa Agropecuária BrasileiraMaliska, Carmelindo2014-04-15info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://seer.sct.embrapa.br/index.php/pab/article/view/17385Pesquisa Agropecuaria Brasileira; v.8, n.6, 1973: Série Veterinária; 91-94Pesquisa Agropecuária Brasileira; v.8, n.6, 1973: Série Veterinária; 91-941678-39210100-104xreponame:Pesquisa Agropecuária Brasileira (Online)instname:Empresa Brasileira de Pesquisa Agropecuária (Embrapa)instacron:EMBRAPAporhttps://seer.sct.embrapa.br/index.php/pab/article/view/17385/11650info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess2014-04-15T18:46:31Zoai:ojs.seer.sct.embrapa.br:article/17385Revistahttp://seer.sct.embrapa.br/index.php/pabPRIhttps://old.scielo.br/oai/scielo-oai.phppab@sct.embrapa.br || sct.pab@embrapa.br1678-39210100-204Xopendoar:2014-04-15T18:46:31Pesquisa Agropecuária Brasileira (Online) - Empresa Brasileira de Pesquisa Agropecuária (Embrapa)false |
