Resumo: The species composition, abundance and biomass of eartworms were determined in two plots of a polyculture forestry plantation and in plots of nearby secondary and primary forest as part of the SHIFT Project ENV 52 since 1997, with objective to study the regeneration and better use of already degrade plots, to diminish the human impact on primary rain forest in Amazonia (Brasil).
