Resumo: | The present work, dealing with the theme of social media and the proliferation of uninformative content through social networks, aims to examine whether and to what extent this phenomenon impacts the quality of democracy, especially in Brazil, and based on a compilation of legal norms and national normative acts edited so far on the subject, to collaborate in the construction of a Brazilian regulatory model (of public and private regulation) that produces solutions to combat misinformation spread on social networks, countering censorship and problematizing expensive issues to freedom of expression and thought, always subject to a posteriori control by the Judiciary. |
