This research aims to test the existence of a correlation between costs to export, considered as Border Compliance and Documentary Compliance, in relation to the HDI (Human Development Index), LPI (Index of Logistics Performance) and Doing Business Score. For this purpose, qualitative research was used, collecting secondary data provided by the World Bank, referring to regional e division presented by the referred institution, from seven groups of countries and, through quantitative research, with the support of Statistics, the hypotheses mentioned were tested. The tested hypotheses pointed to the existence of a moderate to strong correlation between costs to export and HDI, a moderate correlation between costs to export and LPI, as well as the existence of a strong correlation between costs to export and Doing Business
