Resumo: The objective of this study was to understand, in light of the systemic and contingent approaches, the management strategies used by a private HEI in an unstable and adverse economic context. For this, semi-structured interviews were conducted with managers of the HEI in question. The data collected were analyzed according to the Content Analysis technique, with a posteriori categorization. Three categories were identified: perceived threats, vision of changes and management strategies, which allowed to reach the proposed objective.

Para isso, foram feitas entrevistas semiestruturadas com gestores da IES em questão. Os dados coletados foram analisados de acordo com a técnica de Análise de Conteúdo, com categorização a posteriori.
