Resumo: The present work seeks to determine the relationship between the location of the stalls with the level of sales of the merchants of the Cantonal Agricultural Center of Pastaza based on the Central Place Theory. To do this, first an update of the database of the merchants of the Agricultural Center, the vacant stalls and vendors who do not attend the market was carried out, using the field observation technique. Subsequently, a survey was made of 174 merchants to know the current situation of the positions and with these data from primary source an ANOVA econometric model was applied to evaluate the statistical significance of the relationship to be determined. The results of the field observation show that 31% of the positions in the market are vacant. Furthermore, it was observed that the variables “good” and “bad” are significant at 1%, 5% and 10% and the model is statistically significant given its Fisher's p-value of 3.35E-07. It is concluded that there is a relationship between the location of the positions and the level of sales which is contemplated within the Central Place Theory.

Centro Universitário ENIAC2022-04-01info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttp://ojs.eniac.com.br/index.php/EniacPesquisa/article/view/85010.22567/rep.v11i1.850Revista Eniac Pesquisa; Vol. 11 No. 1 (2022); 121-142REVISTA ENIAC PESQUISA; Vol. 11 Núm. 1 (2022); 121-142REVISTA ENIAC PESQUISA; v. 11 n. 1 (2022); 121-1422316-234110.22567/rep.v11i1reponame:Revista ENIAC pesquisainstname:Centro Universitário Eniacinstacron:ENIACporhttp://ojs.eniac.com.br/index.php/EniacPesquisa/article/view/850/826Copyright (c) 2022 REVISTA ENIAC PESQUISAhttps://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessNuñez, Alexis Alexander NúñezRuales, EdgarAlmeida, Luis Anderson ArgothyGuamán, Jaime Fernando Andrade2022-10-17T17:45:22Zoai:ojs.pkp.sfu.ca:article/850Revistahttps://ojs.eniac.com.br/index.php/EniacPesquisahttp://ojs.eniac.com.br/index.php/EniacPesquisa/oai||revistaeniacpesquisa@fernandoasantos.com.br2316-23412316-2341opendoar:2022-10-17T17:45:22Revista ENIAC pesquisa - Centro Universitário Eniacfalse
