Resumo: | The auxin properties of new indole composites synthetized from safrole 2-AMIM and 3-AMIM were evaluated by means of assays in vitro, in which leaf explants of P. hispidinervium, submitted to different treatments, were analyzed as to the presence and number of roots and shoots, callus formation, intumescence and oxidation. The treatments suplemented with 3-AIA, as well as those with 2-AMIM and 3-AMIM, were less effective in the root formation, and shoot formation was not observed. The majority of the exp´lants underwent oxidation. |

As propriedades auxínicas de novos compostos indólicos sintetizados a partir do safrol 2-AMIM e 3-AMIM foram avaliadas por meio de ensaios in vitro, nos quais explantes foliares de pimenta longa, submetidos a diferentes tratamentos, foram analisados quanto à presença e número de raízes e brotos, formação de calos, intumescimento e oxidação. Tanto os tratamentos suplementados com 3-AIA, quanto com 2-AMIM e 3-AMIM,apresentaram-se pouco efetivos na formação de raízes e não foi observada formação de brotos. A maioria dos explantes sofreu oxidação.
