Resumo: | The objective of this study was to evaluate the germination of cedar seeds in vitro and in greenhouse. For germination of seeds in vitro, test tubes containing 15ml of the nutrient in WPM (Wood Plant Medium) were used, supplemented with rock dust. In the greenhouse, seeds were planted in plastic tubes containing rock dust and peat fértil®. For the in vitro study, linear regression analysis showed that there is an inverse relationship between the treatments analyzed, and the highest germination percentage (9,2%) occurred in the control, and the lowest (8,7%) in the concentration of 300mg L-1. In the greenhouse, there is difference in germination rate of cedar seeds in response to different substrates. The highest percentage of germination was 75,36% in the treatment with 30% of rock dust + 70% of peat fértil®. |

Para germinação das sementes in vitro, utilizaram-se tubos de ensaio contendo 15ml do meio nutritivo WPM (Wood Plant Medium), suplementado com pó de rocha. Em casa de vegetação, as sementes foram plantadas em tubetes, contendo pó de rocha e Turfa fértil®. Para o estudo in vitro, a análise de regressão linear mostrou que há uma relação inversa entre os tratamentos analisados, sendo que a maior porcentagem de germinação (9,2%) ocorreu no controle, e a menor (8,7%), na concentração de 300mg L-1. Em casa de vegetação, há diferença na taxa de germinação das sementes de cedro em resposta aos diferentes substratos.
