Resumo: This work was carried out in mistchamber at Embrapa Transference of Technology in CanoinhasSC, Brazil, aiming to evaluate the effect of indolbutyric acid (IBA) on rooting of leafless and four-leaves herbaceous cuttings of ‘Jubileu’ peach. The cuttings were treated with different IBA concentrations (zero, 1.000 and 2.000mg/L). Later on, the treated cuttings were planted in 72 cells of expanded poliestirene trays containing medium texture sand as substrate. The cuttings were evaluated 77 days after planting to determine the percentage of rooted cuttings, number of roots per cutting and lenght of the longest root. It was observed higher percentages of rooting on the four-leaves cuttings treated with IBA, compared to no leaves, which had no rooting with any of theconcentrations tested. The four-leaves cuttings treated with IBA at both 1.000 and 2.000mg/L had higher percentage of rooting than the control, however, there was no difference between rooting percentages in both concentrations.
