Resumo: | Introduction: The construction of mental health care for children and adolescents in the context of Primary Health Care (PHC), permeates interdisciplinary collaboration, through practices developed by professionals from the Family Health teams (eSF) together with professionals from the Nucleus Extended Family Health and Primary Care (NASF-AB), with emphasis on matrix support between secondary care services for child and adolescent mental health. Objective: To understand how professionals from the Family Health (eSF) and NASF-AB teams at the Basic Health Unit (UBS) 1 of Asa Sul deal with the demands of child and youth mental health in the territory and the care strategies that are developed . Methodology: This is a qualitative study, with a descriptive character, carried out through field research. Semi-structured interviews were carried out, using a previously elaborated script. For the analysis of the interviews, the content analysis method was used, choosing 3 axes of key categories. Results: Through the analysis of the interviews, it was evidenced that the professionals, for the most part, understand the children and youth public as subjects of rights, taking into account their specificities, however, some challenges still remain. Conclusion: Need to strengthen teams so that actions can be carried out within the territory, as well as the expansion of matrix support with specialized child and youth mental health services. |

Conclusion: Need to strengthen teams so that actions can be carried out within the territory, as well as the expansion of matrix support with specialized child and youth mental health services.
