THE CONCEPTION OF CONSUMER-CITIZENS IN THE DIRECTOR PLAN FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF A SUSTAINABLE CITY

Resumo: The objective of the research is to recognize the link between consumers-citizens and the municipal plan for the development of a sustainable city. The problem is to verify the expressiveness of the link between consumer-citizen and urban planning (by means of a director plan) in the progress of the localities that aim to be a sustainable city. The methodology was developed through reading by the hypothetical-deductive method. This is basic, exploratory and bibliographic research, composed of three fragments. The first stage analyzes the fundamental right to a sustainable city. The next phase verifies urban planning, especially the director plan as an instrument of city organization. Finally, the last stage presents responsible actions and socio-environmental commitment as consumer-citizen issues.

O problema é verificar qual a expressividade do vínculo entre consumidor-cidadão e planejamento urbano, via plano-diretor, no progresso das localidades que almejam a designação de cidade sustentável. A metodologia foi desenvolvida mediante leitura pelo método hipotético-dedutivo. Trata-se de pesquisa básica, exploratória e bibliográfica, composta por três fragmentos. A primeira etapa analisa o direito fundamental à cidade sustentável. A fase seguinte verifica o planejamento urbano, sobretudo o plano-diretor como instrumento de organização citadina.
