Based on the premise that Brazilian society is characterized by gender inequality as a reflection of a patriarchal system, it is essential to implement fundamental rights in favor of these vulnerable groups, especially women who are victims of domestic and family violence. Thus, gender violence has been the object of constant concern of legal professionals, notably due to the high rates of femicide in Brazil, demonstrating the urgent need for effective actions to combat domestic and family violence against women. Therefore, the implementation of public policies aimed at combating violence against women is one of the preponderant factors in the quest to eradicate this type of crime. In this context, the importance of the role of the Public Ministry in the face of this serious social problem that plagues the country and generates an impact on the entire community, including economic ones, is highlighted, so that the Public Ministry, as a legitimate agent of social transformation, under the terms of the Constitution of the Republic of 1988, can effectively contribute in favor of deficient or even non-existent public policies. The adoption of an institutional model of co-participatory action through a proactive-dialogical action is in line with the profile of a Resolute Public Ministry prioritizing the extrajudicial function Public Ministry of the institution and highlighting its role as an inducer of public policies.
