Resumo: Aesthetics has become an extremely important aspect of Dentistry, especially if we consider that people dream of having a perfect smile in order to fit into the beauty standards that society imposes. For this purpose, several materials have become widely used, such as ceramic laminates. Ceramic veneers are determined as a thin layer of ceramic that restores the buccal surface and part of the proximal surface of the teeth. To verify the durability rate in the use of ceramic laminates. A literature review was carried out, in order to gather articles in the literature related to ceramic laminates, consisting of data published in research platforms, such as: Scientific Electronic Library Online (Scielo), Pubmed and Arch Health Invest. Studies confirm that contact lenses are restorations with excellent strength, and obviously when correctly recommended, provide high rates of success and patient satisfaction with their esthetics. Therefore, the durability rate of ceramic laminates when properly indicated, it is possible to notice for 10 to 20 years an excellent resistance that varies between 90% to 96% providing high success rates.

Para esse fim, diversos materiais tornaram-se muito utilizados, a exemplo dos laminados cerâmicos. Os laminados cerâmicos são determinados como uma fina camada de cerâmica que restaura a superfície vestibular e parte da superfície proximal dos dentes. Verificar a taxa de durabilidade no emprego dos laminados cerâmicos. Foi realizada uma revisão bibliográfica, com o intuito de reunir artigos na literatura relacionados aos laminados cerâmicos, constituída a partir de dados publicados em plataformas de pesquisa, como: Scientific Eletronic Library Online (Scielo), Pubmed e Arch Health Invest. Estudos confirmam que as lentes de contato são restaurações com excelente resistência, e obviamente quando recomendadas de modo correto, proporcionam altos índices de sucesso e contentamento dos pacientes com a sua estética.
