Resumo: | Leptospirosis is a zoonotic disease with worldwide distribution that affects domestic and wild animals and humans. Due to the high mortality and morbidity rates it is important to know the characteristics of Leptospira spp. to establish measures for control and prevention. Leptospira spp. they are spirochete-shaped gram-negative bacteria and have saprophytic and pathogenic species. The pathogenic species most frequently associated with severe human cases in Brazil are Leptospira Icterohaemorrhagiae and Leptospira Copenhagueni. Understanding the interaction of leptospires with the environment and their hosts, triggering the disease allows to establish an effective treatment of affected animals and humans and also act quickly in the control and prevention of leptospirosis. |

Sustenere Publishing2019-11-05info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://sustenere.inf.br/index.php/sciresalutis/article/view/CBPC2236-9600.2019.003.000110.6008/CBPC2236-9600.2019.003.0001Scire Salutis; Vol. 9 No. 3 (2019): Scire Salutis - Jun, Jul, Ago, Set 2019; 1-7Scire Salutis; Vol. 9 Núm. 3 (2019): Scire Salutis - Jun, Jul, Ago, Set 2019; 1-7Scire Salutis; v. 9 n. 3 (2019): Scire Salutis - Jun, Jul, Ago, Set 2019; 1-72236-9600reponame:Scire Salutisinstname:Companhia Brasileira de Produção Científica (CBPC)instacron:ESSporhttps://sustenere.inf.br/index.php/sciresalutis/article/view/CBPC2236-9600.2019.003.0001/1764Copyright (c) 2019 Scire Salutisinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessMelo, Tuane FerreiraPeconick, Ana Paula2020-01-08T10:56:34Zoai:ojs.pkp.sfu.ca:article/3494Revistahttps://sustenere.co/index.php/sciresalutisONGhttps://sustenere.co/index.php/sciresalutis/oai||carlos@arvore.org.br2236-96002236-9600opendoar:2020-01-08T10:56:34Scire Salutis - Companhia Brasileira de Produção Científica (CBPC)false |
