The study aims to analyze the work of the material and sterilization center team - CME, and the risk of infections in the surgical center. The impacts caused by infections acquired in a surgical center, especially the complaints received by patients, so always guide the importance of safe surgery, explaining the success of the surgery even the risks. In view of the facts presented in the work, the relevance of the MSC stands out, taking into account the entire structure of the surgical center and the training of professionals who live in the Center for Sterilization Materials and in the surgical site.
