Resumo: The blood pressure variation in a training program is poorly studied in street racing, the periodization of training racing results in important physiological responses as a result of hemodynamic adaptations that influence the cardiovascular system. The variation in blood pressure during the race reflects the type of workout, intensity and duration. Therefore the objective of this study is to analyze the variation in blood pressure of amateur athletes in a program of continuous training compared with fartlek training program. This is a search field with a descriptive qualitative and quantitative approaches, research sources used were the databases of Scielo, Medline (articles published from 2000 to 2012), and academic books (searchable in the library of the State University Southwest of Bahia). As the race has a predominance of dynamic exercises, implying greater cardiac overload, so the study seeks among so many sports, identify the blood pressure variation in different training methods racing.A blood pressure variation in a program training is poorly studied in street racing, the periodization of training racing results in important physiological, hemodynamic result of adaptations that influence the cardiovascular system. Sustenere Publishing2017-08-13info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://sustenere.inf.br/index.php/sciresalutis/article/view/SPC2236-9600.2016.001.000210.6008/SPC2236-9600.2016.001.0002Scire Salutis; Vol. 6 No. 1 (2016): Scire Salutis - Out, Nov, Dez 2015, Jan, Fev, Mar, Abr, Mai, Jun, Jul, Ago, Set 2016; 35-51Scire Salutis; Vol. 6 Núm. 1 (2016): Scire Salutis - Out, Nov, Dez 2015, Jan, Fev, Mar, Abr, Mai, Jun, Jul, Ago, Set 2016; 35-51Scire Salutis; v. 6 n. 1 (2016): Scire Salutis - Out, Nov, Dez 2015, Jan, Fev, Mar, Abr, Mai, Jun, Jul, Ago, Set 2016; 35-512236-9600reponame:Scire Salutisinstname:Companhia Brasileira de Produção Científica (CBPC)instacron:ESSporhttps://sustenere.inf.br/index.php/sciresalutis/article/view/SPC2236-9600.2016.001.0002/682Santos, Caio Cezar Britoinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess2019-05-14T19:03:13Zoai:ojs.pkp.sfu.ca:article/1287Revistahttps://sustenere.co/index.php/sciresalutisONGhttps://sustenere.co/index.php/sciresalutis/oai||carlos@arvore.org.br2236-96002236-9600opendoar:2019-05-14T19:03:13Scire Salutis - Companhia Brasileira de Produção Científica (CBPC)false
