Resumo: Binge Eating Disorder (BED) is characterized by food intake in large amounts, quickly, with a feeling of lack of control, followed by regret, guilt and discomfort, and may be associated with psychosocial and behavioral factors. Due to the constant transformations that occur in adolescence, of which pubertal development, the beginning of food independence and constant aesthetic demands from society stand out, this phase stands out as a vulnerable phase to disorders. Thus, the aim of this study was to identify the prevalence of BED in adolescents and associated factors. This is an integrative review carried out through searches in the databases: Latin American and Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences (LILACS) Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval Sistem online (MEDLINE) and National Library of Medicine (PUMED) , by crossing the Decs descriptors or MeSh terms: ''Binge Eating Disorders'' and ''Adolescents'', with the Boolean operator “and”, selecting original articles published between 2016-2021, in full, in English is Portuguese. The result was 12 articles that were systematized and analyzed. The findings show a higher prevalence of BED among female adolescents and that emotional coping factors, socioeconomic level, sleep, anxiety, restrictive diets and body dissatisfaction are related to compulsive eating in this public.

The result was 12 articles that were systematized and analyzed. The findings show a higher prevalence of BED among female adolescents and that emotional coping factors, socioeconomic level, sleep, anxiety, restrictive diets and body dissatisfaction are related to compulsive eating in this public.O Transtorno de Compulsão Alimentar Periódica (TCAP) é caracterizado pela ingestão alimentar em grande quantidade, de forma rápida, com sensação de falta de controle, seguido de arrependimento, culpa e desconforto, podendo estar associado a fatores psicossociais e comportamentais.
