Resumo: | Hemoparasitosis are frequent disorders in the routine of the Veterinary Clinic. Among the main etiological agents, the Babesia and Anaplasma genres stand out, which parasitize erythrocytes and platelets, respectively. The main form of transmission of both parasites is through the tick Rhipicephalus sanguineus. Clinical signs are usually nonspecific, and include fever, apathy, anorexia and hematological changes, such as anemia and thrombocytopenia, which can make detection even more difficult. Thus, the performance of complementary exams is extremely important for the definitive diagnosis of the agent. The objective of this work was to describe the report of a dog, coinfected by Babesia spp. and Anaplasma platys, showing the diagnosis and treatment of these diseases. |

Sustenere Publishing2020-09-21info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://sustenere.inf.br/index.php/sciresalutis/article/view/CBPC2236-9600.2021.001.000110.6008/CBPC2236-9600.2021.001.0001Scire Salutis; Vol. 11 No. 1 (2021): Scire Salutis - Out, Nov, Dez 2020, Jan 2021; 1-6Scire Salutis; Vol. 11 Núm. 1 (2021): Scire Salutis - Out, Nov, Dez 2020, Jan 2021; 1-6Scire Salutis; v. 11 n. 1 (2021): Scire Salutis - Out, Nov, Dez 2020, Jan 2021; 1-62236-9600reponame:Scire Salutisinstname:Companhia Brasileira de Produção Científica (CBPC)instacron:ESSporhttps://sustenere.inf.br/index.php/sciresalutis/article/view/CBPC2236-9600.2021.001.0001/2423Copyright (c) 2021 Scire Salutisinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessFerraz, AlexsanderBarwaldt, Eugênia TavaresLima, Camila Moura deCastro, Tanize Angonesi deBierhals, Eduarda SantosDallmann, Paola Renata JoanolPires, Bruna dos SantosNobre, Márcia de OliveiraNizoli, Leandro Quintana2023-01-04T20:17:15Zoai:ojs.pkp.sfu.ca:article/4586Revistahttps://sustenere.co/index.php/sciresalutisONGhttps://sustenere.co/index.php/sciresalutis/oai||carlos@arvore.org.br2236-96002236-9600opendoar:2023-01-04T20:17:15Scire Salutis - Companhia Brasileira de Produção Científica (CBPC)false |
