The use of non-ablative laser in facial rejuvenation

In the modern world, people's physical appearance is of significant importance in relation to various points of the social and professional context. This leads the vast majority to worry about the aesthetics of their body. Among the various aesthetic and dermatological treatments are the use of laser, which is a source of heat applied to the skin. The objective is to know the differences of the types of treatments for facial rejuvenation with the laser application. The methods used were descriptive and exploratory, with the quantitative objective. The survey was conducted through electronic research in national and international journals. We found 8 articles, of which 4 review articles (50%), 3 experimental articles (37%) and 1 comparative study (13%). Among the 8 titles (100%), 12% refers to the use of Led, 12% use of Laser and Led, 63% use of Lasers and 13% use of Intense Pulsed Light. Final considerations: Attempted rejuvenation, especially on the facial aspect, is possible with the use of less aggressive skin treatments and can be performed with ease, as they have a low risk of side effects.
