Resumo: The Master research presented here is in progress. It is inserted in the Post-Graduation Program in Education from the University of Vale do Rio dos Sinos (UNISINOS), under the orientation of Drª Edla Eggert. Our main objective is to understand how the femininities learned in the society and reaffirmed by the Pentecostal Assembly of God interfere in the daily life of a weaving workshop. The empirical research takes place at a weaving workshop in Alvorada, metropolitan region of Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul. Our view is turned to the reflections on Education, Gender, Religion, and the handmade work performed by women. The methodology of this research involves participant observation, individual interviews, narratives of life histories, and discussion groups based on Wivian Weller. In the text there are quotes of weavers women during participant observation and discussion groups. We believe that the narratives of life histories we are using in this research make possible to revive and to repeat paths crossed by women weavers. It can help them to look for visibility and recognition of the richness of what they do in themselves and in the women's collective. We also believe that when we examine the world of “the holy” we are creating a space for the dialogue about the importance of observing religion in the field of education as far as religion is present in formation processes in formal and non-formal spaces in the daily life of people.
