The Uberlândia city is situated in the center region of the Triângulo Mineiro /Alto Paranaíba, being city of reference in the entire region. The Congado Festivity is a cultural heritage, initiating in the end of the 18th century, but only in 1916 the black community could really organize the Rosario Fraternity. The Fraternity has 24 groups and each one contends 80 dancers approximately. Congado festivity became a Cultural Heritage of the City of Uberlândia registered as Municipal Immaterial Heritage by the Decree nº 11.321 of 29th August 2008. Registered in the Book of Celebrations, Registration I, p. 03. During the visits we verified that the congadeiro profile is constituted by people who have a monthly income of a basic salary, live normally in the peripheral areas of the city, have received as inheritance from the parents the devotion to Nossa Senhora do Rosário.
