Love: cause or effect of forgiveness?Amor: causa ou efeito do perdão?Biblia; Novo Testamento; ExegesePecado; Jesus; GratidãoThis article deals with the theme of forgiveness and its relationship with love and gratitude. The starting point for the development of this study will be the text Lk 7.36-50. Luke presents the story where Jesus is anointed by a sinful woman who had her sins forgiven. In addition, forgiveness generates gratitude towards the one who released the forgiveness, which is gratitude manifested through attitudes of affection, admiration and voluntary service.
