Descreve-se aqui, como a devida incorporação da ética na gestão escolar, instigando valores e princípios, pode colaborar para a formação de uma escola que almeja a melhoria do processo ensino-aprendizagem, mais cidadã. As ações do gestor e da gestora estão diretamente associadas às decisões éticas, são aços que fazem a diferença no aprendizado dos alunos e das alunas. A gestão escolar colabora com a formação plena do ser humano, cidadão e cidadã, autônomo e autônoma e ético e ética. Este trabalho pretende refletir o papel do gestor e da gestora escolares na construção de um espaço de educação continuada que promova a valorização e manutenção da consciência da cidadania, tendo como uma das ações motrizes as determinações da gestão pautada na ética. A visão dos autores e das autoras pesquisados, parte do princípio que a gestão escolar deve ser pautada na participação, envolvendo toda a comunidade escolar, pois assim propicia uma vivência democrática e política no espaço de educação, fortalece a cidadania e cumpre com a função social da escola. A escola é um espaço de promoção de parcerias entre os gestores e as gestoras, os alunos e as alunas, a família e a comunidade do entorno, que a partir de ações orientadas pela ética busca da construção de uma realidade justa. Portanto, esse trabalho verifica quais caminhos a gestão pode e deve trilhar para favorecer a vivência de aprendizado significativa, humana e de formação integral.This bibliographic research studies the role of the school manager in dealing with their daily, pedagogical and administrative work. It is described here how the proper incorporation of ethics in school management, instigating values and principles, can contribute to the formation of a school that aims to improve the teaching-learning process, making it more citizen formation. The actions of the manager are directly associated with ethical decisions, they are steel that make a difference in the learning of students. The school management collaborates with the full citizen, autonomous and ethical formation of the human being. This paper intends to reflect on the role of the school manager in the construction of a space of continuous education that promotes the valorization and maintenance of the citizenship conscience, having as one of the driving actions the determinations of the management based on ethics. The view of the authors surveyed, starts from the principle that school management should be based on participation, involving the entire school community, thus providing a democratic and political experience in the education space, strengthening citizenship and fulfilling the social function of the school. The school is a space for the promotion of partnerships between the managers, the students, the family and the surrounding community, which, based on ethically oriented actions, seeks to build a just reality.
