Ao mesmo tempo estudos e pesquisas referentes ao tema são mais atuais, pois têm início a partir do surgimento do movimento feminista com o processo de sistematização da teologia feminista. Ainda mais recentes são os estudos realizados partindo da perspectiva da teologia feminista negra como forma de complementação e unificação de ambas as teologias no atendimento às demandas e necessidades de categorias específicas, mulheres e mulheres negras. Nesse sentido entende-se que a importância da realização de pesquisas envolvendo a temática justifica-se devido a necessidade de maior conhecimento e compartilhamento de saberes entre as diversas áreas e ao mesmo tempo de fazer chegar às pessoas os resultados destes estudos feitos, trazendo a teologia para espaços de construção de saber e reconstrução de ideias e modos de ver as questões que envolvem as mulheres. A presente pesquisa tem como objetivo visibilizar à história de vida de Auta Rosa, personagem da religiosidade popular da cidade de Amarante, interior do estado do Piauí, e as suas experiências de vida, morte e devoção, favorecendo assim um exercício de aproximação entre o campo de saber teológico e as manifestações de religiosidade popular que se fizeram no seu entorno ao ser após sua morte considerada personagem da religiosidade popular, para assim entender de que modo sua história se articula com a teologia feminista e com a teologia feminista negra. Trata-se de uma pesquisa bibliográfica, fenomenológica e ao mesmo tempo qualitativa pois busca a compreensão da devoção religiosa em torno da personagem principal a partir dos relatos etnográficos e da tradição oral. A análise dos dados se deu a partir da metodologia feminista que busca dentre outras coisas a ressignificação de histórias de vida como forma de entender e descontruir padrões estereotipados dando assim maior visibilidade a personagens esquecidas pela história de um povo, de uma cultura ou de uma etnia.The discussions about feminism have been object of not too recent discussions in the history of the movements struggling for women’s rights, since they date back to the middle of the 19th century. At the same time studies and research referring to the theme are more current since they begin with the emergence of the feminist movement with the process of systematizing feminist theology. Even more recent are the studies carried out based on the perspective of the black feminist theology as a way of complementing and unifying both theologies attending to the demands and needs of specific categories, women and black women. In this sense we understand that the importance of carrying out research involving the theme is justified due to the need of greater knowledge and sharing of knowledges among the various areas as well as the need to make the results of these studies reach the people bringing theology to the spaces of construction of knowledge and reconstruction of ideas and ways of seeing the issues which involve women. The goal of this research is to give visibility to the life story of Auta Rosa, a person of the popular religiosity of the city of Amarante, in the interior of the state of Piauí, and her life experiences, death and devotion, thus favoring the exercise of approximation between the field of theological knowledge and the manifestations of popular religiosity which occurred around her when, after her death, she was considered a person of the popular religiosity, in order to understand in what way her story is articulated with feminist theology and with black feminist theology. It is a bibliographic, phenomenological and at the same time qualitative research since it seeks the comprehension of the religious devotion toward the main character based on ethnographic reports and on oral tradition.
