Estas mudanças decaem como avalanches nos contextos escolares que, na maioria das vezes, não estão preparados para responder às novas exigências educacionais oriundas de uma sociedade globalizada em constante processo de inovação. A sociedade exige das instituições de ensino o desenvolvimento de saberes que capacite os/as estudantes para o desenvolvimento, manutenção e competitividade de um mundo global. Nesse sentido a educação deve ultrapassar os muros escolares. É preciso preparar o/a estudante para aprender a aprender em uma sociedade onde o conhecimento é digital e a formação é um processo ao longo da vida. Mais do que capacidade técnica, a educação deve ser humana, urge o desenvolvimento de uma consciência planetária com responsabilidades de solidária e ética. Neste contexto, elegeu-se como objeto de estudo desta pesquisa o Programa Nacional de Inclusão de Jovens (PROJOVEM Urbano) que tem como objetivo promover a cidadania de jovens, de dezoito a vinte e nove anos de idade, por meio da oferta de Educação Básica, Qualificação Profissional e Participação Cidadã. Considerando a tríade curricular do programa, este trabalho tem como objetivo analisar a ética como cerne transversal na integração curricular no PROJOVEM Urbano. Para tanto, realizou-se três processos reflexivos, organizados em capítulos na construção deste trabalho. O primeiro diz respeito à ampla pesquisa bibliográfica, tendo como objetivo fundamentar o processo de análise e construção do objeto pesquisado. No segundo momento realizou-se uma pesquisa documental como condição para conhecer as diretrizes curriculares, pedagógicas e as bases legais do PROJOVEM Urbano. Por fim, a pesquisa de campo como possibilidade de identificar a compreensão dos/das docentes a respeito de cidadania, transversalidade e ética. Espera-se que esta instigante jornada promova discussões a respeito de ética e cidadania em diferentes contextos educacionais, promovendo uma prática pedagógica contextualizada com as necessidades de vida do/a aluno/a, conduzindo-os/as a aprender a ser, aprender a conviver, por meio de valores éticos de solidariedade, respeito mútuo, justiça e diálogo.The contemporary world has been the stage of great social transformation resulting from scientific and technological advances. These changes fall like avalanches on the school contexts which, most of the time, are not prepared to respond to the new educational demands coming from a globalized society in constant process of innovation. The society demands from the teaching institutions the development of knowledge which capacitates the student for the development, maintenance and competitiveness of the global world. In this sense education needs to go beyond the school walls. It needs to prepare the student to learn how to learn in a society where knowledge is digital and formation is a lifelong process. More than technical capacity, education needs to be human, urgently requiring the development of a planetary consciousness with solidary and ethical responsibilities. In this context, the object of study chosen for this research was the National Program of Inclusion of Youth (PROJOVEM Urbano) which has as its goal the promotion of the citizenship of young people, from eighteen to twenty nine years of age, through the offer of Basic Education, Professional Qualification and Citizen Participation. Considering the curricular triad of the program, the goal of this work is to analyze ethics as the transversal core in the curricular integration of the PROJOVEM Urbano. For this, three reflective processes were carried out, organized in chapters in the construction of this paper. The first relates to the broad bibliographic research with the goal of serving as foundation for the process of analysis and construction of the research object. In the second moment a documental research was carried out in order to get to know the curricular and pedagogical guidelines and legal bases of the PROJOVEM Urbano. Finally, field research was carried out as a possibility of identifying the comprehension of the teachers with respect to citizenship, transversality and ethics.
