Resumo: Research data mining requires the use of information systems and complex methods of searching, accessing, retrieving, and appropriating information on the web of data. Platforms such as Google Scholar Google, Elsevier, JSTOR, ResearchGate, ScienceDirect and the ones provided by commonly used universities identified with search terms. The challenge is to ensure that researchers are being exposed to the state-of-the-art networked knowledge production. This study aims to analyze the process of searching and retrieving information, reflect on the role of information systems in the search result and the informational skills of the researcher in view of the quality of information retrieved. Case Study: COVID-19 Dashboard Analysis.

El reto consiste en garantizar que los investigadores estén expuestos a la producción de conocimiento en red más avanzada. Este estudio tiene como objetivo analizar el proceso de búsqueda y recuperación de información, reflexionar sobre el papel de los sistemas de información en el resultado de la búsqueda y las habilidades informativas del investigador de cara a la calidad de la información recuperada. Estudio de Caso: Análisis del Dashboard COVID-19.A pesquisa de dados requer a utilização de sistemas de informação e métodos complexos de pesquisa, acesso, recuperação, e apropriação de informação na rede de dados. Plataformas como o Google Scholar Google, Elsevier, JSTOR, ResearchGate, ScienceDirect e as fornecidas por universidades comummente utilizadas, são identificadas com termos de pesquisa. O desafio é assegurar que os pesquisadores estejam a ser expostos ao estado da arte da produção de conhecimento em rede. Este estudo visa analisar o processo de pesquisa e recuperação de informação, reflectir sobre o papel dos sistemas de informação no resultado da pesquisa e as capacidades informacionais do pesquisador, tendo em vista a qualidade da informação recuperada.
