Application of communication competence in projects and revitalization of the teaching-learning in Administration

Resumo: This paper investigated the utilization of communication competence in projects specifically focused on educational project. Such research is justified due to the changes occurring in the contexts of teaching and learning, which implied the need to understand how the characteristics of today's students require revitalization of these contexts. Therefore, initially a theatrical play was presented to the students and later served as a locus for a case study of application of the educational project. It was developed with the qualitative approach, whose data was collected by means of: indirect and non-participant observation, with respect to the part recorded in observation protocol, with a total time of 3,570 minutes computed in the 51 times that the piece was assisted multiplied by 70 minutes duration; one survey research, with 1,161 students; and semi-structured interview with the producer of the play, the actors, teachers and coordinators of educational institution in which these students are included. Aiming to fulfill this need, this paper aims to comprehend how communication competence in projects can be used in an educational project in higher education institutions in Administration, by investigating the relevance of applying that competence in an educational project. The analysis of data from of these sources of evidence was performed by means content analysis. The results point to the relevance of the application of communication competence in the educational project studied.

Justifica-se essa investigação em razão das transformações ocorridas nos contextos de ensino-aprendizagem, o que implicou a necessidade de compreender como as características dos discentes atuais demandam revitalização desses contextos. Para tanto, inicialmente, uma peça teatral foi apresentada aos discentes e posteriormente serviu de lócus para um estudo de caso de aplicação do projeto educacional. Com abordagem qualitativa e estratégia de pesquisa de estudos observacionais, os dados foram coletados por intermédio de: observação indireta e não participante, com relação à peça teatral analisada e registrada em protocolo de observação, totalizando um tempo de 3.570 minutos, computadas as 51 vezes em que essa peça foi assistida, multiplicadas pelos 70 minutos de duração; uma pesquisa survey, com 1.161 discentes; e entrevista semi-estruturada com o produtor da peça, os atores, docentes e coordenadores da instituição de ensino em que esses discentes estão inseridos. Visando atender a essa necessidade, este artigo buscou compreender como a competência de comunicação em projetos pode ser utilizada em um projeto educacional em instituições de ensino superior em Administração, por meio da investigação da pertinência de aplicação dessa competência em um projeto educacional. A análise dos dados oriundos dessas fontes de evidência foi realizada por meio da análise de conteúdo.
