Resumo: Technological advances have provided us with a significant development of therapeutics in newborns (NB), among them, the infusional device Peripherally Inserted Central Venous Catheter (PICC), also referenced in the scientific literature as a Peripherally Inserted Central Catheter (PICC). This important device, pointed out as an excellence in the care of NBs, considered severely debilitated, who need a drug therapy to use extended.
