Resumo: This article reflects on the work of the psychologist in the prison environment, within the Technical Committees of Classification and Observation Centers criminological, on the nuances and obstacles, as well as the north of this professional by resolutions of the Federal Council of Psychology. Lack of public assistance from State in prison environment instead of a penal execution law who provides everything and the necessary coping by the psychologist, to revise nowadays procedures that bureaucratizes psychologist practices.
