Scientific production of education journals in Scielo on COVID-19: a bibliometric study

Resumo: | Scientific communication is a fundamental part of the knowledge production process, as it is through it that the results of scientific investigations are disseminated. As one of the main means of scientific communication, journals become the object of bibliometric studies. Thus, the bibliometric approach assumes a fundamental role in the process of analyzing the behavior of scientific production, since, through its analyses, it is possible to represent the development of a certain scientific field and/or a subfield. Objective: main objective main objective to develop a metric analysis of the scientific production regarding COVID-19 available in journals, with Qualis-CAPES A1 and A2, which are part of the Education area and which are linked to the Scientific Electronic Library Online collection – Scielo . Methodology: This is a quantitative and qualitative research, which will use the bibliometric approach method. Thus, the work will follow the following steps: Theoretical survey regarding the topics addressed; Search strategy development; Previous reading of the texts; Data collection and storage (Volume; Number; Year; Article title; Author's full name; Affiliation; Language of the full text; Keywords and Article Abstract.). For storage and analysis, the following software was used: Vantage Point®, for bibliometric analysis, Word Art Edit, for Word Cloud formulation and Microsoft Excel, for storage and statistical analysis. Results and Conclusion: In a way, it was possible to verify the recentness of the theme, the research directions, the identification of institutions, national and international, that concentrate research on the theme, the authors who produced the most and the struggle to establish and /or access the field of education and, finally, the themes that are related to the main theme of the research. |

A comunicação científica é parte fundamental no processo de produção do conhecimento, pois é através dela que os resultados das investigações científicas são divulgados. Por ser um dos principais meios de comunicação científica, os periódicos passam a ser objeto de estudos bibliométricos. Dessa forma, a abordagem bibliométrica assume um papel fundamental no processo de análise do comportamento da produção científica, uma vez que, através de suas analises, é possível representar o desenvolvimento de determinado campo científico e/ou de um subcampo. Objetivo: objetivo principal objetivo principal desenvolver uma análise métrica da produção científica a respeito da COVID-19 disponível nos periódicos, com o Qualis-CAPES A1 e A2, que façam parte da área da Educação e que estejam vinculados à coleção da Scientific Electronic Library Online – Scielo . Metodologia: Trata-se de uma pesquisa de caráter quantitativo e qualitativo, que utilizará o método da abordagem bibliométrica. Assim, o trabalho seguirá as seguintes etapas: Levantamento teórico a respeitos dos temas abordados; Desenvolvimento da estratégia de busca; Leitura prévia dos textos; Coleta e armazenamentos dos dados (Volume; Número; Ano; Título do artigo; Nome completo do autor; Filiação; Idioma do texto completo; Palavras-Chave e Resumo do artigo.). Para armazenamento e análise optou-se por utilizar os seguintes softwares: Vantage Point®, para análise bibliométrica, Word Art Edit, para formulação da Word Cloud e o Microsoft Excel, para armazenamento e análises estatísticas. Resultados e Conclusão: De certo modo, foi possível verificar a recencia do tema, os direcinamentos das pesquisas, a indetificação das instituições, nacionais e internacionais, que concentram as pesquisas sobre o tema, os autores que mais produziram e a luta para se firmar e/ou acessar o campo da educação e, por fim, as temáticas que se relacionam com o tema principal da pesquisa.
