Resumo: The Circular Economy (CE) shows a significant relevance regarding the positive effects on environmental preservation and allows the creation of competitive advantages by companies concurrent to it. This article specifically explores a method proposed through the triple helix (3H) model for the collection of used cooking oil (oil) at specific points such as street markets, Bom Prato - Brazilian food security program created in the state of São Paulo -, Comedoria - eating spaces of the Social Service of Commerce (SESC) -, food courts located in Educational Institutions (EI), entertainment spaces, among other events held in the municipality of Guarulhos - SP. The transformation of oil into biodiesel associated with technology resources such as geolocation and reading of Tags - in free translation into Portuguese: tags - for Radio Frequency Identification (RFID, from English Radio Frequency Identification), allows the refueling of transport for waste collection, as well as diesel power generators based on a sustainable development perspective.
