The companies try to survive the various economic changes of the present time that are being generated at a global level in all areas, therefore with the objective of analyzing the sources of financing for the entrepreneurial impulse of the farmers of Riohacha, in In the department of La Guajira, Colombia, a descriptive and non-experimental research was carried out through surveys of 86 subjects, associated with five farms in Riohacha; The instrument used was a questionnaire with responses on a Lickert-type scale with weighted evaluations. Through the questionnaire, it was intended to respond to short-term and long-term financing, and to production costs as dimensions of the variable Sources of Financing. The results indicate that the dimensions and the variable studied present a moderate level of application in the farms studied. It was evidenced that the Financing Sources of farmers in the Riohacha municipality is implemented with moderate attention, since these companies seek to obtain the balance between needs, growth and financial resources, through the acquisition of investment, financing, administration and control of the resources. Based on the results and conclusion, guidelines are proposed that promoted entrepreneurship in this economic sector of the department of La Guajira in Colombia.
